Two Ends of Our Life.

There are two ends of our life. One is building one's self-esteem and the other is placing other's rights above one's own. You may really care about respecting yourself, but you probably don't know how to embody it. Look for people in your life who you admire, such as leaders. If you don't know them personally, consider reading articles about them if they are highly successful.

Look for patterns of people being true to themselves, standing up for themselves, calling out people to interrupt them, and being honest. All these are the characteristics of self-respecting people. The more you look for role models after whom you can model yourself, the better you will be able to understand which behaviors you must align with in order to gain greater self-esteem and respect from others.

Social responsibility is a moral principle in which individuals are accountable for fulfilling their civic duty, and that one person's actions should benefit society as a whole. As such, there must be a balance between economic growth and the welfare of society and the environment. If an action or decision harms the society or the environment, it will be considered socially irresponsible.

The moral values inherent in the society create a difference between right and wrong. In this way, social fairness is considered (by most) "right", but more often than not this "fairness" is absent. It is the responsibility of every individual to act in a manner that is beneficial to the society and not just to the individual.
