My father was a very "cool person", but my mother was very hardworking and self-supporting and lived happily even in poverty. Although my mother was from a good family, she never asked for any help from them. She was the eldest child of her parents. 

He had four brothers and a sister. Amidst all this she had only such luck. One of his brothers was serving in the bank, his other brother was a professor and the third in the Indian Navy. Her sister married a man who was a Marine engineer and worked in the Merchant Navy.

मेरे पिता बहुत ही "मनमौजी" थे, लेकिन मेरी माँ बहुत ही मेहनती और स्वावलम्बी थी और गरीबी को ख़ुशी से जीती थी। हालाँकि उनकी माँ एक अच्छे परिवार से थीं लेकिन उन्होंने कभी उनसे कोई मदद नहीं माँगी। वह अपने माता-पिता की सबसे बड़ी संतान थी। 

उसके चार भाई और एक बहन थी। इन सबके बीच वह केवल इस तरह की किस्मत थी। उसका एक भाई बैंक में सेवारत था, उसका दूसरा भाई एक प्रोफेसर था और तीसरा भारतीय नौसेना में । उसकी बहन ने एक ऐसे आदमी के साथ शादी की जो मरीन इंजीनियर था और मर्चेंट नेवी में काम करता था।  

मेरी माँ बड़ी स्वाभीमानी थी, उसने किसी का उपकार लेने के बजाय, अपनी मेहनत से अपने बच्चों का भविष्य बनाने की ठान ली थी। इस प्रकार उसने अपनी मेहनत से अपने भाग्य को संवारने का संकल्प लिया । वह पढ़ी लिखी नहीं थी, इसलिए उसने मजदूरी करके हमारा पालन पोषण किया।

Citrullus colocynthis, which has many common names including colocynth, bitter apple, bitter cucumber, desert gourd, sodom vine or wild gourd. When we want more, or when we lack it, then love hurts. Losing a relationship can be extremely painful. Relationship, or love, is so important that it is the thing couples fight about the most. My father had become idle. Though, the primary source of our income was agricultural land and it was gone from our hand. Now there was no job for my father. That time we were two brothers and two sisters. I was not born that time.  He went to Kanpur Uttar Pradesh for some work because my maternal grandfather lived there and was running a restaurant.
