Tomorrow Never Comes

Image
Years ago a man named "Hathi" was living my neighboring village. He was very strong in physical. There were no public transport that time nor do the people have money to afford.  One day "Hathi" went to see some of his relatives around twenty miles away. While coming back to home he saw a heavy stone used for mixing & grinding home construction material. He planned to carry it to his village. So he lifted it on his shoulder and brought to his village. Near to his house there was a Panchyat Ghar. Lot of aged people sit there in the evening for "Hooka." When he was passing through they called him asked for "Hooka." Saying that he is coming from a long distance and have some water and rest. Tomorrow will place it at the right place. Hathi urged them to place the stone at the right place but they stopped him doing so. That stone remained there. In 1985 Government launched a scheme to lay down stone in the streets of the villages. The Power is in the Doing, not in the Talking

Image
The monthly wage of my mother was rupee three hundred at that time. It was offered by a group of thirty people. I had to collect the money from them. Many of them were not giving in time. For ten rupee I had to them for several times, two third of them were paying after almost two or three months later. Then it became very difficult to tell them when they had paid last. One day one gentlemen among them had asked me to make a list and hand over to him saying “I will collect from everyone and hand over to me” I was very assured on his saying. But after few days he turned back and told me that he could not arrange time to meet every one and hand over the list to me with some money. He also assured me if someone is asking to come again then he will pay for him. Then I understood the saying “Going through the motions of blabbing about your goals is much different than putting that first foot forward and stepping towards your goals.” The power is in the doing, not in the talking. I started Early to be on Time, But

Image
When I was in the 7th grade, my two younger brothers also started going to school, which resulted increase in our spending. I was not in favor of making them realize our poverty. Thus I searched for the new source of income in addition to my mother's wages.  Honestly hard work has shown its color and we took back our farm which my uncle had as a hostage. Waking up early in the morning milking the pets, feeding them and distributing newspapers was my morning routine. Then on my way to school, I had to leave the milk container at the shops at my bus stand.  After school straight to home and feed my brothers then making arrangement to feed pet animals in my house. Then visit our fields to bring grass for my pets and cutting it with "Gandasa” for the next day. In evening milking the pets. Thus I had no time to meet any of my school mate. During this busy schedule I was so tired that usually I miss my dinner and go to sleep and later it became my habit. Read More... Cont’d जब...

Time was going well as my mother opened a vegetable shop in my house. Now he had to go out of the house for wages. But time had decided something else. Pledge to Build Destiny With Own Hard Work

Image
My father was a very "cool person", but my mother was very hardworking and self-supporting and lived happily even in poverty. Although my mother was from a good family, she never asked for any help from them. She was the eldest child of her parents.  He had four brothers and a sister. Amidst all this she had only such luck. One of his brothers was serving in the bank, his other brother was a professor and the third in the Indian Navy. Her sister married a man who was a Marine engineer and worked in the Merchant Navy.  My mother was very proud, she was determined to make the future of her children with her hard work, rather than taking care of anyone. In this way, he pledged to build his destiny with his hard work. She was not educated, so she labored and raised us.   Read More... He was unaware of the facts of life i.e. what is prosperity and poverty, when he was admitted to a government school at the age of five. By the grace of God he was very keen to learn and became the pride of the school. His mother was very hardworking.  When he entered class II, he slowly realized that we are not all the same. Due to his passion in studies, the distance between his classmates and society was also deepened.  It is now revealed that he is very poor, because people usually said that a boy who has nothing, is very excellent in school and a boy from a rich family is not responding as average.
