We took National Highway 58 from Udaipur. The roads were smooth and with low traffic, so our journey was quite comfortable. We were moving on our way seeing the beauty of Rajasthan. Our journey to this point was very pleasant. After three hour of driving, we halted at Beawar, Rajasthan at a restaurant for our lunch. We were moving as per our time schedule. We had our lunch, had rest for a while and gone ahead on our way at 1500 hrs.

We had to speed up our vehicle as we wanted to cross Jaipur before sunset. We had crossed Ajmer and now the road had also widened. In this way we reached Jaipur at 1800 hrs. It took two hours to cross Jaipur till we reached National Highway 8. There was lots of work on roads was in progress in Jaipur. It took lots of time by diversion at various places. The situation of National Highway 8 was very bad and due to night there was low visibility, which caused slow movement of the vehicle. 

My house is about 3 hours from Jaipur but due to road condition we could not cross Jaipur in three hours. I stayed at a hotel for dinner at 2100. We were quite late, usually it is more traffic at night, so we thought of resting for an hour. We left the hotel at 2230, traffic had also become moderate. 

We came to Kotputli and left the National Highway 8 and moved on the National Highway 148B. Then via Behror, Narnaul and reached my house at 0100 hrs. Thus, for the first time in my life, I had done this memorable journey of 19 hours in a day by my car. Read More...

हमने उदयपुर से राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग 58 लिया। सड़कें चिकनी थीं और कम यातायात के साथ, इसलिए हमारी यात्रा काफी आरामदायक थी। हम राजस्थान की सुंदरता को देखकर अपने रास्ते पर आगे बढ़ रहे थे। इस मुकाम तक हमारा सफर बहुत सुखद रहा। तीन घंटे की ड्राइविंग के बाद, हम अपने भोजन के लिए राजस्थान के ब्यावर में एक रेस्तरां में रुके। हम अपने समय के अनुसार आगे बढ़ रहे थे। हमने अपना दोपहर का भोजन किया, थोड़ी देर आराम किया और 1500 बजे हमारे रास्ते पर आगे बढ़ गए। 

हमें अपने वाहन की रफ्तार को बढ़ाना पड़ा क्योंकि हम सूर्यास्त से पहले जयपुर को पार करना चाहते थे। हमने अजमेर पार कर लिया था और अब सड़क भी चौड़ी हो गई थी। इस तरह हम 1800 बजे जयपुर पहुँचे। जयपुर को पार करने में दो घंटे लगे जब तक हम राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग 8 पर नहीं पहुंच गए। जयपुर में सड़कों का बहुत काम चल रहा था। विभिन्न स्थानों पर मोड़ से बहुत समय लगा। राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग 8 की स्थिति बहुत खराब थी और रात होने के कारण दृश्यता कम थी, जिससे वाहन की गति धीमी हो गई थी। 

मेरा घर जयपुर से लगभग 3 घंटे का है लेकिन सड़क की हालत के कारण हम तीन घंटे में जयपुर पार नहीं कर सकते थे। मैं 2100 पर रात के खाने के लिए एक होटल में रुका था। हमें काफी देर हो गई थी, आमतौर पर रात में अधिक ट्रैफिक होता है, इसलिए हमने एक घंटे आराम करने की सोची। हमने 2230 पर होटल छोड़ दिया, यातायात भी मध्यम हो गया था। हम कोटपूतली आए और राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग 8 को छोड़कर राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग 148 बी पर चले गए। फिर बहरोड़ से नारनौल होते हुए 0100 बजे मेरे घर पहुँचे। इस प्रकार, मैंने अपने जीवन में पहली बार अपनी कार से एक दिन में 19 घंटे की यह यादगार यात्रा की थी।
