Dhosi, A Place for Pilgrims

     The mountain of Dhosi contains the remains of a fort built by Hemu about 500 years ago, the fort was built to protect the heritage and ashrams on the hill from frequent attacks by Muslim invaders in medieval times.


    Apart from the temples in Shiv Kund, there are several temples in the pit area of ​​the half, hill on the top of the hill from Kultajpur. These include the Chyavan Temple, the Shiva Temple at the pit, a Devi Temple at the top of the hill and a Ram Temple next to the Royal Guest House.

    ढोसी के पहाड़ में लगभग 500 साल पहले हेमू द्वारा निर्मित एक किले के अवशेष है, मध्ययुगीन काल में मुस्लिम आक्रमणकारियों द्वारा लगातार हमलों से पहाड़ी पर विरासत और आश्रमों की सुरक्षा के लिए किले का निर्माण किया गया था।

    शिव कुंड में मंदिरों के अलावा, कुलताजपुर की ओर से पहाड़ी की चोटी पर आधे, पहाड़ी के गड्ढे वाले हिस्से में कई मंदिर हैं। इनमें च्यवन मंदिर, गड्ढा पर शिव मंदिर, पहाड़ी की चोटी पर एक देवी मंदिर और रॉयल गेस्ट हाउस के बगल में एक राम मंदिर है।

    महर्षि च्यवन ने यहाँ तपस्या की थी, उन्होंने च्यवनप्राश का आविष्कार किया था। च्यवन मंदिर के गर्भगृह में शेखावाटी चित्र और एक तहखाना है जिसे तीर्थयात्रियों के लिए धर्मशाला (विश्राम स्थल) के रूप में इस्तेमाल किया जा सकता है। पहाड़ी पर अन्य संरचनाओं में पुनर्निर्मित चंद्रकोप है।
