Characteristics of Police

We all know the police department well, as it plays an important role in our domestic affairs,non-violence, pandemics, and in keeping the traffic smooth. Police typically are responsible for maintaining public order and safety, enforcing the law, and preventing, detecting, and investigating criminal activities. The word "police", P.O.L.I.C.E, formed with these six letters of English alphabets, which defines a lot and a policeman must have all these six qualities, only then its importance will be proved.  

Politeness – Politeness is a conduct that does not cause any harm to others. This a practical application of the manners. Politeness means showing regards for others in manners, speech, and behavior. Showing consideration for others, using tact, and observing social norms are the qualities of politess. Politeness can and will improve your relationships with others, help to build respect and rapport, boost your self-esteem and confidence, and improve your communication skills.  

Obedience - Obedience is a form of social influence in which a person has to follow explicit instructions or orders of an authority. Obedience is the backbone of the organization and provides stability to it. The best example of obedience is the army of the country, which also sacrifices life for the nation. This is the second and most important quality of a policeman.

Loyality- This is the third quality of a policeman, which is the way in which a mature and integrated mind behaves. Loyalty indicates undivided wholeness and shows richness. Loyalty is defined as giving or showing firm and constant support or allegiance to a person or institution.  

Intelligent- A policemen must be intelligent in many ways: the capacity for logic, understanding, self-awareness, learning, emotional knowledge, reasoning, planning, creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving. An intelligent person is one who is having or showing the ability to understand, learn and think.  

Courageous- A policeman must be courageous, because it allows one to face extreme dangers and difficulties without fear. Courageous people believe in themselves. They know who they are and what they stand for. They have strong will, recognize their personal capabilities, and are confident in meeting the challenges that lie before them. Courageous people are passionate and purposeful.  

Efficient- A policeman needs to be able to work well without making mistakes or wasting time and energy. Efficiency is the amount of divisions ordered from a task. Efficiency can be defined using optimal resources with maximum output. It minimizes the waste of resources such as physical materials, energy, and time while accomplishing the desired output. विनम्रता - विनम्रता एक आचरण है जो दूसरों को कोई नुकसान नहीं पहुंचाता है। यह शिष्टाचार का एक व्यावहारिक अनुप्रयोग है। शिष्टता का अर्थ है, शिष्टाचार, भाषण और व्यवहार में दूसरों के प्रति संबंध दिखाना। विनम्रता दूसरों के साथ आपके संबंधों को बेहतर बना सकती है, सम्मान और तालमेल बनाने में मदद करेगी, आपके आत्मसम्मान और आत्मविश्वास को बढ़ाएगी और आपके संचार कौशल में सुधार करेगी। एक पुलिसकर्मी विनम्र होना चाहिए, स्थिति कैसी भी क्यों ना हो।  

आज्ञाकारी - आज्ञाकारिता सामाजिक प्रभाव का एक रूप है जिसमें व्यक्ति को किसी प्राधिकरण के स्पष्ट निर्देशों या आदेशों का पालन करना होता है। आज्ञाकारिता संगठन की रीढ़ है और इसे स्थिरता प्रदान करती है। आज्ञाकारिता का सबसे अच्छा उदाहरण देश की सेना है, जो राष्ट्र के लिए जीवन भी बलिदान करती है। यह एक पुलिसकर्मी की दूसरी और सबसे महत्वपूर्ण गुणवत्ता है।  

वफादारी -वफादारी वह तरीका है जिसमें एक परिपक्व और एकीकृत दिमाग व्यवहार करता है। वफादारी चेतना की अविभाजित पूर्णता को इंगित करती है और समृद्धि को दर्शाती है। वफादारी को किसी व्यक्ति या संस्था को दृढ़ और निरंतर समर्थन या निष्ठा देने या दिखाने के रूप में परिभाषित किया गया है।  

बुद्धिमान- एक पुलिसकर्मी को कई तरह से बुद्धिमान होना चाहिए: समझ, आत्म-जागरूकता, सीखने, भावनात्मक ज्ञान, तर्क, योजना, रचनात्मकता, महत्वपूर्ण सोच और समस्या को सुलझाने की क्षमता। एक विभक्त व्यक्ति वह है जो समझने, सीखने और सोचने की क्षमता रखता है।  

साहसी - एक पुलिसकर्मी को साहसी होना चाहिए, क्योंकि यह बिना किसी डर के अत्यधिक खतरों और कठिनाइयों का सामना करने की अनुमति देता है। साहसी लोग खुद पर विश्वास करते हैं। वे जानते हैं कि वे कौन हैं और वे किसके लिए खड़े हैं। उनमें दृढ़ इच्छाशक्ति है, अपनी व्यक्तिगत क्षमताओं को पहचानते हैं, और उन चुनौतियों का सामना करने में विश्वास रखते हैं जो उनके सामने हैं। साहसी लोग भावुक और उद्देश्यपूर्ण होते हैं।  

दक्षता- एक पुलिसकर्मी को गलतियों या समय और ऊर्जा बर्बाद किए बिना अच्छी तरह से काम करने में सक्षम होने की आवश्यकता है। दक्षता एक कार्य से विभाजित डिवीजनों की राशि है। अधिकतम उत्पादन के साथ इष्टतम संसाधनों का उपयोग करके दक्षता को परिभाषित किया जा सकता है। यह वांछित सामग्री को पूरा करते समय भौतिक सामग्री, ऊर्जा और समय जैसे संसाधनों की बर्बादी को कम करता है। इस प्रकार एक पुलिसकर्मी एक कुशल होना चाहिए।
